Batter Up

If all goes well and I actually put all of my ideas down, this will be good grist for the mill for the ongoing "future of the open source desktop" debate. I have more questions than answers and must state that while I'm comfortably familiar with many of the theories I'm introducing I am no expert. In fact I'm not a programmer either but a graphic designer who uses OS X, open in part. :)
